The 5,000 sq. ft. showroom of R.E. MacDonald stoves has been located at the corner of 248th and the Fraser Highway for over 30 years. The warm and rambling premises is home to a dedicated group of sales and service specialists who remain committed to maintaining one of the highest levels of service in the industry.

Ralph MacDonald opened the store in this same location and we have operated here ever since. To keep up with current trends, the showroom display is ever evolving, however the quaint building looks much the same as it did 30 years ago when it was the local gathering spot – the community centre. Over these 30 years customers have repeatedly been through the front doors and new customers are always surprised to see what there is inside.

Unlike the big box stores, RE MacDonald Stoves’ follow-up warranty processing is available to all our customers. We have been here for 30 years. Customers return time and again, to upgrade their current products, and have us follow through on their warranty issues. Our service doesn’t end with your purchase. We are here for all your future parts needs, and carry a large inventory of parts for repairs or replacement. Venting components, thermocouples, valves, gas logs, through to door glass – if we don’t have it we’ll make every effort to help you find it. Our service department is skilled at making it work again and refreshing the look of well used units from BBQs to stoves and inserts.

Our Gas Service Technicians are available to perform in-home preventive maintenance. It is recommend that gas units be serviced every two years. For $125 per unit (the 2nd unit is ½ price) plus parts, our service technicians will vacuum out your unit, clean the glass, and replace any non-working parts. Remember that the busy time of year is after the first cold spell in the fall until after the New Year. Be ahead of the season and book your service call outside of this time frame.

We stock a unique selection of accessories to decorate your home and complement your fireplace includes toolsets, log carriers, screens and more. And for your spring and summer garden enjoyment, we carry an extensive selection of BBQs and accessories, as well as natural stone for garden walkways, poolside decks, and home and hearth facings.
